Rob Blackman has been playing r "n "b, blues, rock, folk and jazz guitar for the best part of 20 years. Equally adept in a variety of styles- Rob has recently formed his own distinctive "Cool Jazz" style trio. Not one to "blow his own trumpet" (well- he is a guitarist!) Rob has worked with some notable performers in the world of music. However, Rob is first and foremost a working musician- and now he is focusing on his first love- Jazz guitar. His musical idols from Django, Wes Montgomery and Kenny Burrell are all evident in the musical stylings of his brand new small trio and band. Rob has scoured far and wide to recruit both youth and experience in the shape of the up- and- coming young protege Luke Capon on double bass together with ex- Len Turner's Syncopator's drummer Shaun Hall.
