Remember back in November when guitarist/vocalist Johnny Franck left Attack Attack! to “refocus on God”? Well, since then he’s been working on a new band called the March Ahead with former K Sera singer Mike Caswell. If you think that’s hypocritical, well, it basically all comes down to the fact that Franck just doesn’t want to tour full-time as Attack Attack! has become accustomed to.

In an interview with Alternative Press, Franck said there were no hard feelings with his old bandmates and that March Ahead have plans to release an EP in the near future. When asked what the new material would sound like, Franck said, “It’s definitely got some aspect of Attack Attack! in it, but it’s got a lot more stuff, too. It’s a little bit more electronic with more natural-sounding guitar and bass. It’s still got that Attack Attack! sound to it, though.”
